feminism isn’t supposed to be popular. it’s supposed to attack deeply ingrained social structures that, obviously, people are going to want to cling to. if the only stances you ever take are the ones that you know everyone’s going to agree with you are. not. changing. the. world.

It’s okay to grieve all the opportunities you lost from doubts, overthinking or anxiety.
I know it’s only human to try and think of “what if’s”, but instead, try to focus on the reasons why you didn’t took those opportunities.
Sometimes, the root of self sabotage is fear caused by overthinking, which then leads to impostor syndrome.
You weren’t ready, and that’s okay, there’s no shame in that. We can all learn and grow, so the next time an opportunity comes knocking on the door, we are ready. Remember, a mistake that taught you something wasn’t a waste, but a lesson.
